2 days in paris

We have a side trip planned in paris, france but will only be there for 2 days. There is sooo much to see we are overwhelmed.

Any suggestions on what to hit in this brief period of time? Also we will be there the first of October. Any suggestions on what to wear?

Bring a rain jacket and sweater, I bring an umbrella too since I hate hat head.

May be sunny and cool, or rainy.. who knows. Wear comfortable shoes no matter what.

For two days you will have to decide your priorities based on your interests. Modern art? Ancient Cathderals? What is it about Paris that interests you ??

I have never had to jam Paris into 2 days, but , I figure you need to decide what are your %26quot;must dos%26quot; and work around them.

Just got back from Paris (4 days). To cram as much stuff as possible into your time, I would suggest going to some of the attactions at night. We did the Eiffel tower at night - we also went to the Louvre during its late hours (Friday and I think Wed?). I really enjoyed Versailles but it you only have 2 days I would spend it in Paris.

I%26#39;d cancel your main destination and spend the time in Paris! -- kidding, but not much. I spent 10 days there (on the Left Bank) and can%26#39;t wait to go back.
