High Tea/Afternoon Tea in Paris

Just wondering if there is anywhere that is renowned for doing a special High Tea or Afternoon Tea in Paris

In the past, have had High Tea in Brisbane, Melbourne %26amp; Hong Kong %26amp; have decided I%26#39;m going to make it a %26#39;travel tradition%26#39;. I have looked on some websites for different hotels but they don%26#39;t seem to be listed....I%26#39;m sure someone on TA will know.

I would think Angelina would be one possibility, though they are even more famous for their hot chocolat:

Oops, sorry , that link does not work- I will see if I can find a better one from the establishment itself!

Wow, thats really going to limit your choice of travel destinations.

High Tea is British,, still done in countries that were once British colonies (um,, like all the places you have had it in already) ,, but France does not do %26quot;High Tea%26quot; ,, suggest you visit London. This might be why you are not finding it listed anywhere on a hotel website.

That said , you could find a nice cup of tea (perhaps, but, , I find tea in Paris sub par) at somewhere like Angelines and a pastry I imagine too.

Suggest you skip idea, even if you find it somewhere in Paris it will likely be very fake( can%26#39;t think of a better term , but I am sure there is one) ,, for tourists,, etc.

If you happen to have a day or so stopover in Singapore on the way to Paris then go to Raffles for High Tea, pure elegance and the teas first class too.

I%26#39;m surprised no one has mentioned the tea room at Mariage Frères yet. Their tea service reminds me very much of high tea in Britain.
