Le Club Mougins

We are coming from Australia and travelling in Europe. If anyone has stayed at Le Club Mougins recently we would appreciate reading your comments about this resort.

We are going in July to the same place. I noted there is no air conditioning mentioned. Do you think it will be tolerable???

We had a HORRIBLE stay at Club Mougins. We had a vacation getaway and paid for a room filled with insects. I have just had a response from Diamond Resorts to a detailed letter about our stay. They said we opened up windows and had flying ants. Ha Ha. We came home from dinner the first night and found a major infestation of bugs pouring out of the walls in the kitchen, dining area, and living room. The bugs were numerous and were of every size. We complained late at night and we shut the doors after my husband sprayed so much bug spray that the odor was horrible. The next day one man came and sprayed. The management%26#39;s attitude reflected that this unit and others have had bug problems before. One day without bugs. THe next day again mor bugs and they were all over the kitchen area, especially the refrigerator. Again, we complained and so much time was spent on this. We asked for a different room and they had none. People who stayed here before said that these units have had bugs problems. Also, the couch was smelly, old...what we call ratty. Ditto for the rug in the bedroom. Again, I addressed this in a letter to Diamond Resorts and they blame housekeeping. NO WAY. The couch and rug are OLD and SMELLY. Again, we spoke to people have newly renovated units that had new couches, rugs, etc. We complained numerous time to management and we got the proverbial shrug.... and there is nothing we can do. Big apologies do not count on a vacation. We decided to leave early. SO GOOD LUCK%26gt; Sincerely, Valerie Merrill. P.S%26gt; BY the way, check out the huge gas prices and tolls on the roads. Any more info about France we can send. We Still love the place and its people, but this place is the pits.

Can you give us any tips on how to get around the area by using local buses or trains? We will arrive at Nice Airport and are staying at Club Mougins; can%26#39;t seem to find any info on transportation to Mougins except for a taxi. A taxi is 80 Euro and we don%26#39;t want to pay that.
