NPR - National Public Radio - in Paris?

My wife is a real NPR radio news junkie. For those who live in Paris, is there a radio station in Paris that carries NPR%26#39;s news programs?

Well I don%26#39;t live in Paris, but I know there is an NPR station in Berlin, which we are able to pick up in Afghanistan via satellite dish on our TV. Don%26#39;t know if you can get that in Paris, though.

Another option is to turn on your laptop, connect to the Internet and type in a Web address for a station that carries live streaming.

Keep in mind the time difference though -- the programming via livestreaming is on American time -- eastern for East Coast stations, western for West Coast stations, etc.

If you have a laptop you can listen online. The NPR website indicates that there are no NPR stations outside of the US.

No, there are no over the air broadcast stations that broadcast NPR in Paris. However, we listen to live NPR broadcasts every day via streaming internet. If you have a laptop or PC in your apartment, NPR is streamed directly to the internet by many affiliate stations in the US and any computer that has a browser and access to the internet can receive the streams. Our %26quot;local%26quot; station in Paris is KCRW from Santa Monica, CA.

That%26#39;s a %26#39;..plan..%26#39; I can understand and it may work...but BE CAREFUL !!. You can only nod your head and seem to agree or empathize for only so long (a liitle like %26#39;shoe shopping%26#39;)....and then they turn on you......
