Arc de Triomphe location question

I am considering staying in the hotel Franklin D. Roosevelt, 18 rue Clement Marot 08 Arr.

I am considering catching the Air France airport bus from Paris Cdg to Arc de Triomphe. How long is the walk from the Arc de Triomphe to the hotel and is it easy to find? We also arrive on a bank holiday will this make a difference? Thanks.

Google thinks it%26#39;ll only take a brief 16 minutes:

Methinks you should save some energy and ride Line 1 one stop to George V. Catch the métro at Charles de Gaulle-Etoile stop, right by the Arc.

Bank holidays shouldn%26#39;t affect your travel. When are you arriving? The Air France buses run 7 days a week. They don%26#39;t list any exceptions on their web site: http://www.cars-airfrance.com/

Hi;

Your hotel the Franklin Roosevelt is about 1.2 klms from where the Air France bus drops you off.

It%26#39;s not the easiest to find since Clemont Marot is a street little more than 2 blocks long, between Pierre Charron and Montaigne.

It is a quick and inexpensive cab ride. Otherwise get a map from Google or the website and you%26#39;ll see that you head down the Champs Elysees to Pierre Charron, between metro George V and Franklin Roosevelt, then south(right) two blocks to Clement Marot then east(left).

It should be no more than a 5-7 euro cab ride...

Thanks both, very useful.
