Hi there - I was wondering if I could get some basic info from you experts.
My DD is going to Germany for a year to be an au-pair. We are arranging to meet in Paris and will have a week together. Being Disney nuts, we thought we would take in Disneyland Paris and then fit in a couple of days in Paris.
So, I%26#39;m wondering:
1. How many days would it take to tour the parks?
2. Is it reasonable to stay at Disneyland Paris for 6 nights and return to Paris for a couple of day trips? I would likely be renting a car.
3. I%26#39;m considering staying at Davy Crockatt%26#39;s Ranch because of the kitchen facilities, but to be honest, some of the reviews scared the bejeebers out of me. is there anything comparable I should consider - maybe offsite?
Thanks!

What a waste to go to Paris and spend all your time in an American theme park! Make the city your main destination and have just a day or two at the theme park. Don%26#39;t even think about driving a car in Paris.

thanks for the input
I lived in Europe for 4 years and saw lots - I%26#39;m mainly interested in spending time with my daughter and showing her a bit of Paris. I don%26#39;t think driving there will be a problem - I wasn%26#39;t planning on driving downtown - we%26#39;ll no doubt park somewhere and take the metro.

Hi Irisesareblue
You are Disneyfan meaning You will love the park
We had a trip in february with six night and six days
You might find it cheaper to stay put in Disneylandparis resort than to break it up
We had two days with a car where we went to Versailles and Notre Dam the other day.
It was easy to drive and no problems with parking either right outside Notre Dam where it was a parking celler.
Look at the left side under hotels they have some apartement I think in Marne le valle, Its probably cheaper than Davy Crockatts and its close to train station and supermarket.
And have a nice trip and good luck to Your DD with her year as aupair.

Hi Iris..
If I remember correctly, I think Davy Crockett is closed that time of year.
I also find it%26#39;s cheaper to stay in Disney and take a train into Paris for day trips. B

Hi from one province to the west,
We love Disney as well. In fact, we are following you to WDW in November this year....we%26#39;ll be there November 7 to 18th.
We were in France last summer. Out of our 10 days in Paris we spent 2 days at Disneyland Paris (with a hopper pass). Two days was okay for a first visit. Three days would have been a bit less hectic.
We travelled from an apartment in Paris each day. Our biggest problem was travelling back into Paris after the fireworks....the metro shut down for the night just one stop before our stop!
We didn%26#39;t have a car to get between Paris and Disneyland Paris. To be honest our family didn%26#39;t need one as the public transport worked well.
Hope this helps,
Cathy
