shops and bars in December

Hi I am going to Nice Dec8th-12th and I was wondering will allthe shops and bars be open as usual or do they have different hours or close for religious hoidays at this time of year.Thanks in advance

All the shops will be open, most of the bars too, a few restaurants take their holiday late Nov early Dec before the christmas/New Year rush.

Be assured there will be plenty for you to try out during your stay.

Thanks for your input I have been in Nice several times before but always in Summer so I wasn%26#39;t sure what to expect at this time of year.We went to Malaga last December and though the weather was wonderful I got caught short as far as shopping was concerned as everywhere closed on Dec.8th and 9th religious festivals.My %26quot;darling%26quot; husband thought this was hilarious as he bought everything he wanted on the 7th and told me I had the next few days all to myself to shop!!!Nevertheless we still enjoyed our break but not going to get caught again.
