Hello,
I am travelling to Paris for the first time this Saturday. What is the best way to get from CDG Airport to my hotel (Hotel Jules 75009 Paris)?
Also are there any excellent restaurants near where I am staying?
Finally I have 2.5 days on this trip, what are the must do things?
Thanks in advance for your ideas.
Richard.

b. Air France Bus – CDG:

1. Fares – 14/22€ one way/return
2. 15% discount on one way for groups of 4 or more
3. Operates every 30 minutes from 5:45 a.m. to 11 p.m.

There are excellent restaurants all over the 9th but without knowing your expectations (budget, type of food) many recommendations may not be appropriate.

Why is the rossybus not a good option? Opera is quite close to where I am staying isn%26#39;t it?
Richard.

You are correct themon. The Roissybus is indeed a good option for those staying in the 9th.
I intended to mark Montparnasse as perhaps too far away to be a workable solution yet wanted to include all options for others who may be able to use the information.

Of the public transportation options, ROISSYBUS probably suits your destination best---ROISSYBUS to its terminus near Place de l%26#39;Opéra (at: 11 rue Scribe %26amp; rue Auber)...from here either TAXI PARISIAN from the nearby Taxi stand the 1 km to HÔTEL JULES--49 rue Lafayette (nr: rue du Faubourg Montmartre) 75009, Metro: LE PELETIER. Taxi fare approx 6€-8€...or...go down to the OPËRA Metro station and take the #7 Metro ligne (heading in the direction of La Courneuve 8 Mai 1945) two(2) stops to LE PELETERIE (station exit at angle: rue Lafayette %26amp; rue de la Victoire)....or...you could walk the 1 km from ROISSYBUS drop off to your hotel. Of the three options, RIOSSYBUS %26amp; taxi probably work best.

We are staying in Montparnasse (Hotel des Bains, 33 Rue Delambre). Other than a taxi, which is expensive, what is the best way to get there from CDG on a Saturday afternoon? The train seems easiest except for hauling suitcases up and down stairs. Would the Air France shuttle bus be next best? And then take a cab from where the bus drops us off to the hotel?
Also, our plane departs 9 a.m. on Wed. Will it be necessary to take a cab that early in the a.m.?
