help please camping in bordeaux

Hi,





i am planning on going on a camping trip in july 09%26#39;.



were thinking about going to bordeaux and would be greatful if any body can give any info at all on the following?





1.is it warm in boreaux on july?





2.how long will it take from each ferry port in the north of france to drive down?





3. can any body recommend a good campsite in bordeaux that is good for kids, clean, has a good pool and lots of things to do both day and night.





4.also is there much to do in bordeaux?





5.can you recommend any were else apart from bordeaux that is warm and not to long of a drive from the port, that is good fun?





any help at all would be great.

Camping anywhere in France in the summer is wonderful. It will be warm in Bordeaux in July.





I do not know the driving times, I%26#39;m sorry. Perhaps you should take the time to drive and explore. I loved Brittany and Normandy. There are some great beaches there. We camped on one near Saint Malo.





We used the Michelin camping guide. It is for the better places, often with pools, restaurants, etc.
