My wife and I will be spending two days in Collioure in late September and would appreciate any recommendations re restaurants and (if possible) a general indication of the cost, i.e. inexpensive, moderate, expensive. Thanks.

La Balette , route de Port-Vendres - Menus at €37, €57, €74.
I read a review a few days ago on a new restaurant called %26quot;Le Cinquième Pêché%26quot;. Haven%26#39;t tried it, but the review was excellent. If I remember well, menu was €40

For a special occasion dinner, the best you can get in Collioure is at Le Neptune. It%26#39;s a one star Michelin restaurant overlooking the bay of Collioure. The view and setting is mesmerizing and the food out of this world. It%26#39;s fairly expensive for a European restaurant (count at least 100 euros per person)

Thanks you Pvoyageuse and Kelly for your suggestions, which I have copied. The Neptune sounds lovely, although I may have to rob the Collioure bank to dine there! Brian

The best restaurant for local produce is Le Tremail.
Its a small Catalan family run restaurant just inside the wall behind the petite cafe on the beach near the tower.
the food is not expensive but is excellent. The service is very good. Get there early it gets full quickly.
The other good restaurant is by the Triton hotel near the beach . Its called L%26#39;Amphitron.
Le petite cafe is good for drinks and coffee with a lovely view of the sea and surrounding bays. Also they dont serve food so you can take your sandwiches, croissants etc and munch away while you have a drink.
