Have just returned from trip to France. Spent two weeks in Sainte Anne apartment rented from this group. My initial contacts were all re-assuring and I was especially pleased that they offered pick-up (with apartment keys) from the airport. As we were arriving at ungodly 4:30 am, I emailed them twice to let them know of this. You have guessed it? arrived after long journey from Oz, at 4:30 am, no taxi, no answer to phone - and had already paid 140 Euros for the (return) taxi trip. Took taxi to office area in bastille. sat in bus shelter until 8 am when coffee shop opened. Office opened at 10 am. Response? %26#39;Oh, we didn%26#39;t get an email. The apartment will be ready at 1 pm. Our taxi will take you there now to drop off your luggage.%26#39;
Things did improve - however there were no instructions in any language for the use of the equipment in the apartment and the %26#39;useful%26#39; info for the area was for Marais - so we had to find our own metro/grocer etc. Fortunately previous guests had had similar problems and once we consulted the guest book things improved.
I don%26#39;t think that Paris furnished Apartments reads the review forms that they give customers - this was disappointing.
The apartment was clean, quiet and convenient for staying in Paris, but the poor introduction and failure to provide newcomers with helpful practical advice on stores, the area or appliances was off-putting.
Our taxi DID arrive to transfer us from Paris to the airport when we left, and we were able to negotiate an extra night in the apartment. (This oversight was my mistake - in France they use the American way of month/day/year and I had misread it).
I cannot recommend this firm, but the apartment was very good.

Thanks for the report, muffinBungendore. Just to correct one point in case it confuses people ...
%26quot;in France they use the American way of month/day/year%26quot;
No, they don%26#39;t normally. France and the rest of Europe uses day/month/year. Maybe this agency uses American format to suit its American clients.
