marais nightclubs

hi we are heading to Paris on my hen weekend in October. We are staying in the Marais area. We usually stay in this area and usually just go to bars but this time we want to hit a few night clubs. Can anyone recommend any good ones which are within stumbling distance of the St Paul metro?

We are a group of ten. Will we be able to get in en masse? We are (hopefully) not going to be in usual hen night attire!! We like most music but not techo....any suggestions would be appreciated.

Although the Marais has some great bars, the nearest concentration of nightclubs are in 1st and 2nd Arrondissements (in one direction) and Bastille (in the other). There are quite a few on the Champs Elysees, but presumably they%26#39;d be too far for you.

Poshest in the 1st could be le Cab, 2 Place du Palais-Royale. They don%26#39;t let in the non-beautiful or scruffy.

Less pretentious is le Tryptique, 142 rue Montmartre, 2nd.

You%26#39;re severely limiting yourselves by objecting to techno in Paris.
