Hi everyone,
I am travelling with my elderly mother and was wondering if there was many stairs at the above station.

I%26#39;m not familiar with the station, but it%26#39;s very likely that it has many stairs, in common with most other Paris Metro stations, especially the smaller ones like Jules Joffrin. A typical Metro station has 25 to 30 steps up from the platform to the ticket hall, and another 20 or so up to the street.
If that%26#39;s a problem for your mother, you might find that buses are easier for her. Jules Joffrin (Mairie du 18e) is the terminus of route 80 (for St Lazare and the Champs d%26#39;Elysées) and the Montmartrobus (for Montmartre), and is also served by route 31 (for the Arc de Triomphe) and route 60.
The RATP site has a downloadable map of bus, RER and a few Metro services that are fully accessible, which you may find useful. It%26#39;s a ZIP file containing a PDF file:

I was just through that station and I remembered your post as I climbed the stairs. There is no escalator and lots of stairs.
