Watch out with this company. I was charged 80 euros last weekend for not sweeping sand from the footwells. Daylight robbery.

Don%26#39;t get me started on Europcar. One thing to know is that they are different companies in each country. So if you pick up a car in Germany and it breaks down in France, they have to bring a replacement car from Germany!! (Even for just a wretched hazard light problem). Then they tried charging us over $1000 extra.
Another time Europcar Switzerland refused to give us a child car seat we had reserved because it was a one way rental and Europcar Germany couldn%26#39;t be truted to return it (a one way rental).

EUROPCAR AREA RIP-OFF!!! I returned a car to the airport lot at Adelaide, Australia, and had it inspected on return. All good, handed the keys back, and left. Next day, I get a phone call saying they found a dent in the front bumper, and that they had that morning, 12 hours after the rental agreement had finished, hit my credit card for $1200! Nothing wrong when dropped off, next day a dent. And they want me to pay for it! Needless to say I am refusing to accept responsibility for something that happened after I returned the vehicle. I%26#39;m still waiting for their Customer Service Rep from Head Office to call. It is Europcar policy to charge the card before notifying you of a problem too - that is what I was told by the manager at Adelaide Airport. I%26#39;ll keep everyone posted on how this pans out.
