I will be visiting Cherborg on QE2 on 01 October. We are in port from 8 until 6. What is the most convenient way to arrange a trip to Mont St Michel?

Surely the ship will be organising its own shorex there? Even if this is quite expensive, unless you can get some other people together it will probably be your best option. In the time you have available trains are going to be almost impossible which means either hiring a car or a taxi, both of which will be pretty pricey.

If you use viamichelin.com to prepare a route, the journey time is at least 2 hours each way. However your get there, it is well worth the journey!

Have had a look at Cunard%26#39;s site, and no, there%26#39;s no ship excusion to Le Mont.
Timewise, your best bet is to follow others advice, and fix up a private car to take you there.
