Walking from Luxembourg Parc to Louvre

About how long do you think it takes to walk from Luxembourg Parc (entrance on R. de Vaugirard) to the Louvre (average walking speed)?

***IF*** you could do it without stopping to look at this, that or something else or meandering here and there....along the most direct route (approx 1.5-2 km), it should take perhaps 25-30 very pleasant minutes.

It%26#39;s a pretty good hike; I%26#39;d say a half hour. However, if you are going to the Louvre to visit, then I would consider hopping on the metro, exit at Palais Royale (not Louvre) stop. Save your energy for the almost-overwhelming walking you will do inside the Louvre, not getting there, for a more pleasant visit. Perhaps you can walk back to Lux Park then.

The Metro the Musee du Louvre really won%26#39;t %26#39;work%26#39; from the Hotel Luxembourg Parc..at rue Vaugirad %26amp; rue Servandoni....but just along rue Vaugirard at the Senat is a stop for the #58 bus route with a stop at PONT NEUF.
