Was furious with how my husband and I were treated in this spot in the main square of the medieval city. Greeted by a blonde waitress with a face that would turn milk sour, we still foolishly ordered.
Food poor which wasn%26#39;t the issue as we hadn%26#39;t bothered to book anywhere but the bad service and downright rudeness took the biscuit. We Irish are used to being ripped off but are not accustomed to having drinks dumped roughly in front of us, being left with the same (dirty)cutlery from one course to the next and waitresses smoking together at a nearby table with patrons being ignored! Our dirty dishes lay there for an hour as we shivered in the cold.
When we decided to leave we were arrogantly treated by the waitress who didnt ask if there was a reason we were skipping our last two courses and told we had to pay for the full menu we had initially requested. We would have been there till the morning

Hi Thank you for the tip. We are going in October for the weekend and will certainly avoid this place.
Just had a wonderful weekend in Dublin for my sister;s birthday. The Irish have the best bar staff in the world bar none. It was really busy as the All Ireland Final was on but we never waited for a drink
Food was great and the service in all the restaurants superb. It is really is is so infuriating when tourists get treated so badly.
I hope it didn%26#39;t spoil your stay too much. Is there anywhere you would recommend in the Cite. We are staying at Great Western.
Amen Ra

I%26#39;m sorry you experienced such bad service. I%26#39;ll make sure to avoid that place in future. I suspect there is a degree of complacency in some of these places.
Did you have a good time otherwise ?
