Transportation and area info

Will be in Paris in April 2009 staying at the Pullman Paris Rive Gauche hotel I think it is the south west area. What is the best transportation from Orly airport to the hotel? Will be in Paris April 20 - 24. Any itinerary tips are greatly welcomed

Regards,

Lonnie

PULLMAN PARIS RIVE GAUCHE--8-12, rue Louis Armand, 75015, Metro: #8 BALARD--

Your best bet for geting from and back to ORLY will be to simply take a regular TAXI PARISIAN from the regular taxi ranks outside of your arrival terminal building. All of the other public transportation airport transfer connections between the two are %26#39;..clunky..%26#39; at best....(ORLYVAL shuttle-train to ANTONY RER...RER %26#39;B%26#39; ligne to CITÉ UNIVERSITAIRE...T3 Tram to BALARD Metro...then walk (400 meters) to the hotel).

This hotel is only just %26#39;..in..%26#39; Paris, near Porte de Sèvres, just beyond the Périphérique (ring road) around Paris. Did you check the hotel%26#39;s location on a Paris map? Is there some reason why you selected a hotel so far out?

Yes I know it on the outskirts of Paris... I was hoping to get closer but got a $121.00 per night via priceline, which seems like a reasonable price.

Thanks for the info cab sounds like the way to go since it will be two people the cost should be comparable to public transit.
