Restaurants on the Left Bank

We are headed to Paris next weekend with nine family members - all adults. Could anyone recommend some good restaurants, not too expensive please. We are staying the Hotel St Michel, right at the bottom of Blvd St Michel.

Merci

For a table of nine, you may need reservations. I%26#39;d recommend Le Vin Sobre et Le Pre Verre in your neighborhood.

We found one of our favorites restaurants . . . outside. We went to a nearby store (lots of them around...just ask). Bought some wine, cheeses, meats, mustards, bread, pate%26#39;, etc. and walked to pretty spots right on the Seine River. Lots of students there with their boom boxes doing the tango and other dancing.

We loved the ambiance, the students were friendly, and the scenery was outstanding. (We went to an area that was East of Notre Dame...but I know there will be beautiful spots all over.

We%26#39;re still talking about it.

An excellent restaurant (not too many tourists know about it) is called AOI on the left bank. A local person told us about it and it was where you felt like, %26quot;I;m really in Paris). House wine came with the meal at no charge. Very small...but some large tables. Make reservations.
