Lille at Xmas

I am thinking of travelling to Lille at Xmas and was wodering if bars and restaurants were open during the Xmas period.....can anyone help

Most bars and restaurants are open as usual.

If you want a New Years Eve meal book in advance.

The Christmas market is a big event from Nov 19th to Dec 30th and the city is full of tourists in the evenings. The shops are also open on a Sunday for the three Sundays before Christmas.
