Nice itinerary help ??

We are going to Nice at the end of Sept. Arriving late Saturday night and leaving Tuesday afternoon. I have some ideas thanks to this forum, but any advice would be welcome. It%26#39;s such a short time and there seems to be so much to do! We are staying in the Mont Boron area, great views but seems like a bit of a walk into Nice. These are my ideas so far:

1) Spend Sunday in Nice, (what%26#39;s the bus service like on sunday?) I think a walk into Nice would be ok, but would probably need to get the Bus back.

2) Monday vsiit Monaco in the morning and Eze in the afternoon. We had thought of a boat trip to Monaco, but it seems most people think the bus is better (cheaper too)

3) Not sure about Tuesaday. we did want to walk to Villefranche, but we need to get to the airport late afternoon, plus we%26#39;ll have all our luggage with us. So maybe we should do that on the Sunday and spend a few hours on Tuesday in Nice itself? It would probably be easier to get to the airport from Nice.

we don%26#39;t drink so not looking for wild nightlife, but would like to go to a casino at some point. Any help or ideas would be welcome.

It depends where your hotel is exactly and how close you want the bus to take you

This is the mont boron bus number 14 timetable It goes right to the top of Mont Boron On a Sunday there is roughly one an hour

The 82 bus also goes via col de villefrasnche - the 112 also passes that way but only monday to saturday

The bus trip is quite picturesque from Nice to Monaco

One the sunday I%26#39;d take the 82 bus from col de villefranche to Villefranche spend the morning there and get any bus back to Nice , spend the afternoon in Nice and get a bus back to Mont boron about 7pm

Don%26#39;t forget to take time to walk around Mont Boron and Mont Alban [and look at the castle dating to 1560 [from the outside] near your hotel - it will take a about one and a half to 2 hours to do the full circuit through woodland paths and pause and take photos etc - the views over the port of Nice on one side and the Villefranche/Cap ferrat on the other is breathtaking You could do that on the Tuesday morning, leaving your bags at your hotel then get the bus down to the bus station [Lycee gare routiere stop] to connect with the airport shuttle bus.

I would go to Nice on Sunday morning. This way you can go to the Open Air Flower Market. It is so much fun. They also have produce and other goodies, so you could gather things for a picnic lunch. You could also walk along the Promenade de Anglais, and climb Castle Hill for beautiful views. I would then take the train to Villefranche sur-mer in the afternoon. It is worth seeing and picture postcard beautiful! I would then return to your home base for the evening.

Monday, I would go to Eze Village in the daytime. It is great fun and again something not to be missed! You can then continue on to Monaco/ Monte Carlo. When we were there, the casino did not open until 2:00. This is why I would reccommend going to Eze Village first.

Thank you both for the suggestions. We%26#39;re looking forward to it!
